Oblong is located at Serangoon Gardens.

The place is actually a nice place, but it was kind of hard to find if travel by public transport (you need to know the directions properly). And also the interior design isn’t as good as other atas cafe I went to, it is very plain but overall it was quite a good experience. Like they have different things all around, they never really settle on any themes for their cafe.

Oblong offers you a wide range of waffles (red velvet, charcoal, etc.) and ice-creams. Their specialty is of course the red velvet waffles with ice-cream. ($10 a set) The set consist of any flavour of waffles with single scoop of ice cream. Additional chargers for extra scoop of ice cream. They also got other combos which are priced a little more expensive but I guess it’s actually worth the price.

I tried the red velvet one before, it is served with two waffles and a scoop of ice cream, there is cream cheese in between two stacked waffles topped by a scoop of your choice of ice cream and also sauce. It actually seems pretty small, but when I ate it, it was pretty filling for me. Oh and the set includes a drink of a choice. They actually don’t really have much things there but since it’s a dessert cafe, you guys can eat around that area and leave a space for dessert and go try it out!
